Dear NIA WOCN members,
We received a thank you letter from the Friends of Ostomates Worldwide (FOW-USA). We voted at the March meeting to donate $1000 to this organization, Jan Colwell is the president. The letter states:
" The Friends of Ostomates Worldwide-USA gratefully acknowledges feceipt of your donation in the amount of $1000 for the 2012 calendar year.
Your most generous contribution will enable us to continue helping ostomates around the world through Project SHARE (Sending Help And Rehabilitation Everywhere). The funds will be used to ship donated ostomy supplies and literature to those ostomates in other countries who do not have adequate products to care for their ostomy, and to help pay for the lease of our sorting and packing facility in Louisville.
